Hooked to a song from RDB

Am just not able to get this song out of my mind ever since I watched the movie. Itz a vvvv slow, romantic and simple song. Madhushree and Naresh Iyer touch your heart with their smooth and flowing voice.

Tu bin bataaye mujhe le chal kaheen
Jahaan tu muskuraaye meri manzil wahin
Tu bin bataaye mujhe le chal kaheen
Jahaan tu muskuraaye meri manzil wahin

Madhushree raises the pitch here beautifully - a pucca smooth transition

Meethi lagi, chakh ke dekhi abhi

reduces immediately

Mishri ki dali, zindagi woh chali
Jahaan hai teri baahein mera saahil wahin
Tu bin bataaye mujhe le chal kaheen
Jahaan tu muskuraaye meri manzil wahin

The saxophone(?) piece here is fantastic. Naresh Iyer comes into the song only at this point. Just 5 lines but he absolutely rocks!!

Mann ki gali tu puhaaron si aa
Bheeg jaaye mere khwabon ka kaafila
Jise tu gungunayee meri dhun hai wahin
Tu bin batayi mujhe le chal kaheen
Jahaan tu muskuraayi meri manzil wahin

And the song ends perfectly with both of them humming in sync.

All you have to do to enjoy this song is - play it in a silent room, close ur eyes, relax and let the soft music and poetic words sink in. Itz a bliss!!!

    Paathacha!!! *envy, envy*
On your recommendation, I went back to listen to this song since I have been 'ding ding'-ing only all these while! Like most ARR songs, some will take a while to catch on(even 'Mayliragey' took a while for me! Same singers, isn't it?)
